An invitation to join the Armory family to make it fly.
Hi Nelly Nell ,
After having a long chat with Tam last night…
I had a thought…then an epiphany!
And now I'm certain that I have to ask...
L, will you be my Sweet n Sassy Sugar Momma? 😘
I'm making fun, however I'm actually being serious.
We are working on an absolutely wonderful project, set in a magical castle, in the loveliest little art town in the heart center of the west coast.
As I think you know, I have been bringing live music and events to the Historic Ashland Armory for the last decade, under our company called Live at the Armory (LATA).
This year, we have an incredible expansion plan in the works. We’ve just completed a bunch of upgrades of the venue bars, sound and lighting systems. Now we are ready to book a top-tier headliner concert series that rivals the nation’s top venues, while simultaneously launching a media network dedicated to music, entertainment, education, and community revitalization.
We've done all the preliminary work. We are fully ready to rock! Everything is all teed up and set for launch.
It’s Time for the Spark!
We had the funding lined up to book the artists for the series, but that has been delayed, and it is time now to act in order to lock in the 2025 calendar.
My friend John was set to provide the capital for the artist deposits. His mother passed and he is receiving a sizable inheritance. However, the process of closing out his Mother’s estate is taking longer than he expected. We had planned our 2025 launch around his contribution, which was supposed to arrive before the new year. Now I’m exploring immediate alternatives so that we can lock in the headliner series.
We just a little help with this little finanical spark fully turn on our production mechanism, and I'm sincerely hoping that's where you come in.
I am hoping you'll be able to step in a either be our lender or our benevolent benefactor 🙏
John was planning on giving us a loan, with a simple flat interest, paid back through a percentage of bar revenues over time. This is a safe and sustainable payment structure for us.
Note: See this page about the simple loan agreement with John.
The other option would be for us to have a cosigner (aka benevolent benefactor vibes ; ) for a revolving line of credit. Having a revolving line of credit that is exclusively dedicated to covering our yearly booking guarantees is what we actually ultimately will establish.
Either way, with a little financial spark we’re all set to book a world class lineup for 2025, which will catapult the company to the next levels! This an incredibly exciting time for us…and also the entire Rogue Valley community!
Also, this is just the beginning of a much larger, incredibly unique and leading-edge, new-media based project. Something that I would really love to share more about with you in conversation.
Simple Loan Agreement
Our agreement with John was as follows:
$100K loan, 15% total interest.
Repayment of $115K over time, with 10% of gross bar sales as they come in (approx. 2–3 years).
See attached Loan agreement
Example: Bar sales of a typical Great Hall show range between 5 to 15K(+) per night. If the bar is 10k, then $1000 from that event alone will go towards the monthly payment.
We are estimating the average monthly payments will total around 3k to 4k (+), once the series is fully rocking, and will continue until the loan is paid in full.
Once the funds are secured, we immediately send out the artist offers. When accepted, we sign contracts, wire the 50% deposits, and shows are confirmed!
We then announce the full series and get the shows on sale—saddling up for a magical, musical ride all year!
And the cool thing is all the funds used to cover deposits cycle back into the credit line to be reused to produce the next series, creating a sustainable booking fund.
And this quite literally is the most fun business in the world! We actually make fun for a living!
To Recap…
We could do either a loan or a co-signer… or maybe even a potential partnership??? I’m truly serious about this. That really was my “epiphany moment”. I actually believe it could be a purely magical alliance! You have access to resources that we do not at this time, and we have something absolutely wonderful in the works!
Perhaps you could become part of this lovely and inspiring passion project that brings oceans of joy and meaning to your life?
Tam thought it might be something you'd enjoy participating in.

I hope this will be an easy yes for you and we have this all done by the beginning of next week! No pressure ; )
And let me tell you from the bottom of my heart and soul how deeply I would be appreciated right now! We’ve been busting our butts rebooting this beauty! We’re almost there. This is the last piece of the puzzle. This would be the most wonderful blessing right now. I just want the full green-light to do the booking and get this joint ROCKING again!!!
If you love what you do… you’ll never work another day in your life!
Note: I think it’s important to note how much we benefit the local economy. We create real jobs and generate quite a significant amount of ancillary spending in the community (people going out to restaurants and bars before and after shows etc.)
and we bring joy… and that is essential.
